So while picking up a 2 person order i was called by “dasher support” the caller id said dasher support they said 1 of my orders was a fraudulent order then gave me the name and what they ordered told me to cancel the order and i would get full payment since i am already at the store. I had told them nothing they knew the name and the order and that i was at the store currently. Then said the payment for the order would be processed by midnight. Asked if i am paid weekly or on dasher direct (should have been a red flag but its 1am im tired and my guard was down because how else would they know any of this and they didnt ask me for anything yet. But to process my payment because i hadnt activated my dasher direct card (again i didnt give them that info they knew) i had to be verified by them sending me a 6 digit code to the phone number associated with the account yup okay done, then they said okay type in your password i said my password? Nah thats weird it doesnt make sense they said okay we can manually verify you thru answering these questions which was my email and my address and my DOB… okay i guess then they said okay login to your dasher direct to verify the funds went in. I did then i get a text saying new login from new device i said nope funds arent there but why did i get this text? They said because we had to reset your account to get you verified so yup no funds were deposited okay it will be in when you stop dashing it will go in your account with your other dashes. So it didnt i called support they were like yes this is a new scam that we have been working on for the last couple weeks your story is basically the same as the others i said okay but how did they know where i was the order name and what they ordered she said that is what they are trying to figure out they havent yet waiting on update from cyber team within next 24 hours. There were red flags i should have recognized but again they knew so much it was enough to get me to ignore what i was thinking so beware if u get a call like that mid order
