So the other day I was picking up from our downtown subway (I dash in a smaller mountain town) and everything was going as normal when I walked in. They had a few people in line and the delivery was still being worked on so I relaxed and sipped my redbull. When the worker motioned to me that the order was ready I walked over to retrieve it, however, upon walking up to the counter, she had the order laid out with the receipt next to it and said I must take a picture to send to the customer. This took me by surprise, and I informed her that the app hasn't asked for a picture of the order. (I know that it sometimes asks you to take a picture of the receipt or if not the whole order upon pick up, but this didn't have the prompt.) She said that, "doordash told us too." At this point I asked if she wasn't going to let me have the order unless I took the picture, which she said that she would, and that I had to show her I sent it to the customer. Like I understand where she's coming from, but the whole situation just made me uncomfortable and made it feel like she's insinuating that I'm going to steal the food, as well as lying that doordash told them to do something like that.
