Live in Vancouver, WA and always went across the Colombia river to work in Portland, less down time, better tips etc...But now base pay in Vancouver is actually higher. Base pay is $2.50 and EBT is $16.50 vs portland $2 and $15.75.
Pisses me off the same work is payed differently...especially cause cost of living is higher in Portland. Anyone know of any Washington state laws that might be causing this pay difference...cause Vancouver to Portland is legit just a 10 min drive with no traffic, seems weird that the smaller market pays more.
