I just got TD for October. I’m a software engineer by day, and do DD part-time - it’s a great tax write off.
If you’re not trying to get your AR to 70% on this platform, and meet the other requirements…you’re always going to think it sucks. I’m in an average market and every order I get is high paying. Maybe not high dollars, but at least $2-$3 per mile.
Before I wasn’t a TD, the orders were mostly average or crap. The algo holds $2 /mile orders in a queue and once that queue time expires it looks for a TD with the highest AR, and pushes it to them or works it’s way down the queue.
Read the verbiage about high paying orders, they flat out tell you what they do. It’s starts at 50% and it’s a different queue!
I’ve tested it, and have seen it in action side by side someone. If I have 75% and the other Dasher has 74% I get it almost every time if I don’t have an order.
It’s not rocket science, cherry picking only works when you’re a TD. If you’re not a TD, take the average orders to get your % up and you’ll enjoy it much more.
DD is not going to constantly reward you if you don’t put in the effort for the people who suck. I’m not saying take no tip orders, but that’s mostly what you all are denying - I see NONE of those now. Not bragging, just facts. I learned the hard way.
Just an FYI.
