So in my area default pay is 14.25 an hour for earn by time which means normally it's not rly worth it because ur going 4 miles to get maybe $5 if they don't tip. However, I've been getting a lot of $5 boosts which is a $10/h boost meaning I'm making $24.25 per hour. Combine that with Uber eats as well (and sometimes on top) and boom (earnings hasn't fully updated on last screenshot I actually made $152.07 today alone and was only active for a little over 5 hours and drove 60 miles. It's also a lot of luck however. Luckily a lot of my trips were on the shorter side and It wasn't completely no tip customers tonight. However if there isn't a boost I'm sticking to earn per order but I may just chase boosts because my areas been pretty dead in terms of decent orders so this is a good way to take on no tip customers and still have it be somewhat profitable. It also means instead of my pay being my mostly the generosity of customers my pay is mostly coming out of doordash's pocket which I do get a bit of satisfaction from.
