Well, to say that I’m pissed of is an under-fucking-statement. Right. Pick up a pizza, hop in the car, customer has pinned the location. Tap it, drive 27 minutes to that location ready to hand to the customer. No answer at the door so I phone her. She is not at the address that was pinned, she’s at home, 20!minutes back in the direction I just came from. Eh, it happens. I showed her the pin and she’s say, in the snidest way, that’s not what I put in the computer. Ok, enjoy your pizza, bye.
Door Dash support is…something to be desired. Actually, it’s a fucking joke. Explained what occurred and she can see on her terminal all the pertinent information and puts me on hold. For 25 minutes until, ‘this call has ended please stay on the line to answer our survey’. No! And I hung up and called once again.
The gentleman also has all the information and puts me on hold. Deep breath. He’s back a minute later to happily say he’s authorized to give an extra $5 on top of the $10.25 I laugh and say that is insufficient and he will need to talk with his supervisor. On hold for 10min more minutes. It’s now 1 hour and 35 minutes since the pizza first touched my hand. He comes back to say he can now give…$7.
You have got to be kidding me!!!! Never mind. Goodbye! I then proceed to conduct a very loud curse laden screaming fit for 2-3 minutes straight. When I finally finished, I hear him ask if there’s anything else.
I’m sorry. I thought I hung up.
