So I am a traveling network engineer and I had dash pass and all the things because of work. I probably paid DD $5000 to $8000 a year with all my business.
The other day I went to order food from home and all the restaurants except Taco Bell were suddenly “out of delivery range.”
I called customer service, and said if DD is eliminating deliver to my house I will want to cancel my DashPass and get a refund. The CSR told me that they do not change delivery areas, if a store stopped delivering to me it’s because they changed their own delivery area.
I told the CSR that I’m not stupid. 80 restaurants do not all eliminate their delivery areas on the same day. He freaked out, cancelled all my accounts (even my base account) called me names, told me I was spamming his chat and disconnected.
The next day, all the restaurants were back, I no longer have a DD account, and I still have not received a refund.
Who hires the DD “premium services customer service Reps?” They are clearly morons.
As for me, I am taking my $5000 to $8000 a year business over to UberEats.
