Ok I keep seeing all these post about bad doordash experiences and bad tippers here is the best way to fix it.
BOTH SIDES DO BETTER.
I see these crappy entitled Doordashers say how the eat or steal food because someone didn't tip or posted a crappy tip for a long drive. STOP DOING THAT. As a Dasher set up a guideline for orders you will and won't accept and stick to it. This is not a job that you can make a good living off in most cases. So decline offers I know it sucks because you are like I need the money bit you aren't really making enough after gas and everything so set your limits stick to them and do the best job you can.
As for people who order on doordash. Tip better. I know that tipping in optional but you know when you order on doordash there is going to be fees. That's doordashs model it's how they make money and you are using it because you don't want to go get the stuff yourself so you are paying for conveniences. You also know that Doordash does not pay the drivers great all the time so tip. It doesn't have to be huge, average is 15%, 20% is better but when you order from a place 10 plus miles from your home take that into consideration.
When I order I tip based off the distance to my house. The further away the nicer tip.
So stop complaining when you get a bad experience when you don't tip well. I know money is tight if that's the case go out and get it yourself.
If you all want a better experience with Doordash don't Thangs to change it. Stop ordering if you feel like your getting screwed. Stop accepting crappy tip drives. It will hit Doordashs bottom line and we could see actually changes.
I know that's a dream but hey we could always try right.
Keep doing better and help each other out.
