I usually lurk here as a fellow dasher, but I took a roadtrip with some family friends and when we got in they wanted to order food. Haven’t used DoorDash as a customer in a long time. Dude shows up with our food… ($80 worth of pizza supposedly) it appears to be 2 small pizzas and a small salad. I’m like are you sure? He says yes this is what they gave me when I went to pick up. This fuckin rookie yall….he grabbed another order by the same name. In BRIGHT RED LETTERS at the top it says Uber eats order. I guess technically it’s on both the restaurant and the dasher…but there’s no way he should have left with that without double checking. I called the restaurant and explained, meanwhile my sister puts in the request for wrong order refund. They told me I could just come pick it up and I mentioned they should remake the other order. I get to the restaurant and run into the Uber eats driver, and the restaurant is frantically looking for his order…I couldn’t help but laugh and be like yeah some guy just delivered it to us, sorry 🤣 epic fuck up but we got extra (albeit vegan) pizza and a full refund. I think I’m good on being a customer indefinitely 💀 hope the Uber eats girl got free pizza too!
