As the title says,…… in the 3 years I have driven for DoorDash I have not had one contract violation. I picked up an order from dominos last night super late, I was delivering it to a hotel. It was a hotel that had the doors on the outside, you didn’t have to go through the lobby to get to the rooms. Apparently the idiot who ordered the pizza put the wrong room number. As soon as he text me and we figured it out I immediately turned around to retrieve the pizza, but by the time I got back it was already gone. They said they were going to report it which is fine obviously you didn’t get your food. They proceed to tell door dash that I delivered it to the wrong room and then was unresponsive, which is crazy. Then when I explain to door dash what had happened they still decided I was in the wrong even though the idiot had given the wrong room number. I am obviously going to appeal this but whoof, this is crazy, how is this my fault?
