If Doordash and other apps are so concerned about the safety of the delivery driver (of course they are not) they should put a limit on fountain drinks. First of all, they stink to deliver. This week I had seven large fountain drinks from Burger King that I had to deliver. Not easy. Hard enough carrying it to the car with the food, then trying to drive with it is hard, making turns, going over speed bumps, while the drinks are dripping in your car. Makes it hard to drive one handed and balancing the fountain drinks in your car with the other hand.
Panda Express, their large drink is so big, it doesn't fit any drink holder in the car, they don't even have cartoon drink holders orders for that size at Panda Express.
I think the limit should be four fountain drinks. I have had orders in the past from 12-16 fountain drinks/smoothies for business lunch. Just a nightmare. As a customer, don't you feel bad about putting the driver through that kind of BS. At least tip very generous if that is the case, but no never a good tip for the extra effort. Or is the customer feeling on that type of order, I don't care about anyone else, as long as I get what I what, all I care about.
