Had to unassign delivery where customer ordered a soda but really wanted gas

Post Body

Last night I had to sacrifice 1 percentage point on my completion rating because I refused to do something the customer requested that was outside of the doordash order. I am messaging support to hopefully get it reversed.

Basically I accepted a Racetrack delivery for 1 20 oz bottle of coke going 4.5 miles for $6.25

As I was getting ready to leave the house, my phone rings. It's the customer. What they really wanted was for me to bring them a gallon of gas 🤦

I tell them I don't have a gas can (a bit of a lie as I do have one in my garage but I haven't used it in a few years). They ask me to purchase one and they will pay me back. I decline so they ask me to unassign the order so someone else can do it. Ok done.

My completion rate dropped from 97% to 96% I already am protective of my CR because I have balance and lifting issues and have to unassign orders if I accept a 711 run that ends up having a 24 pack of water in it.

Support seems like they said they'd take care of it but they also gave me the standard line about CR being for the last 100 deliveries. I hope they can just manually increase it back to 97 since I unassigned because I refused to break the rules.

What would you guys have done?
