Ok everyone, here’s the deal.
As a door dasher, I drive my own car. You, as a customer, do not know what kind of car I drive.
I really think that if a customer has a bad driveway, dirt, potholes, gravel, they should be required to tell us.
I drive a 1993 miata, now don’t get me wrong, this car can make it almost anywhere. But, some driveways are impossible. Yesterday I came across a mile long gravel driveway with potholes about 6 inches all the way to 1 foot deep. This customer should have told me, had I decided “no I’m not doing this driveway” I absolutely would not have walked down it either.
Please customers, give us as much info as you can. The more information we have, the more likely we can deliver your order safely and properly.
Most of my customers are very considerate, some are very much not. Let’s bring the rest of those guys into the considerate pile! Thanks for ordering door dash!!
