I know some people for whom the best part of the game is trying to assess a kingdom from scratch, without the benefit of having played or seen it before. Whether they win or lose, they're not usually too interested in playing another game, given that for the second go-round, everyone has seen the strategy(/ies) that worked best in the first.
For my part, I believe that Dominion has a fair bit of depth to it, enough that even for a specific kingdom, the strategy space is not exhausted in a couple of plays, so I'm often interested in playing again and seeing what emerges. I would presumably get tired of a kingdom once no one has any fresh ideas about how to improve play, but in practice, someone else usually tires of a given kingdom before that point is reached.
Regardless of which camp you fall into, I'd be interested in your thoughts on this.
