I couldn't tell him before because he was threatening suicide forcing me to "give him a chance to get better." But when he directly asked tonight if I was really legitimately considering taking him back, I had to tell him the truth.
Course, now he wants to move his ex in with us, but I'm still working on getting on my feet to leave. Was really hoping he'd wait until I was fully out of the house before bringing the ex in, but he says they'll "be staying over a lot more often now." Also custody is gonna be a nightmare battle. I told him to stop talking like the kids are automatically assumed to stay here because it was upsetting me that he kept that up. He says he wants things to be pretty equal but it's hard to trust when *multiple times* he has talked about me leaving *alone* and him keeping the kids here. I'm leaving *because of his treatment of the kids* and he *literally knows that.*
