Me (m26) and my now ex bf (m25) of two ish years have had a really toxic relationship and last 6m started getting bad. He constantly put his hands on me which I got a restraining order from the judge but I never followed through with it because I depend on him and always give in.

The thing that really was the worst of all was one night when he was upset with me instead of talking to me about it he intentionally od me on ghb (date rape drug) then I woke up 8 hours later to find out he stole money and other items from my house. He told me delibertly it was because of something that we already talked about but he just got mad again about it and wanted revenge.

Would the cops do anything about it now ? I did call the cops at the time but didn't follow through because the cop was very straightforward with me that if I started this and didn't go to court and testify against him that I could get in trouble so I backed out but I'm ready now 3 months later.
