Hello all. A while back I posted about a plea hearing in my abusers domestic violence case. This went what I would describe as okay. He was found guilty and put on 10 years of probation. I was granted a permanent protective order.
Well today we had court on a probation revocation hearing with a new charge and our civil hearing case for our ongoing divorce. This was a cruel twist of things as my permanent protective order was modified excessively in his favor. They let him out on bond while investigating his offense for the probation revocation and he get to have our daughter back for visitation and because I didn’t have a family attorney present today a lot of our protections we had in place like no leaving certain countries and supervised visits got dropped. So I’m absolutely broken and don’t even know what to do. I feel let down and I was verbally attacked by attorneys on my end and his end.
I was told that I must not be too scared of him based on allegations the procution heard from the lawyer representing my husband. I’m absolutely defeated. Two years of this has been going on and things were looking up a month ago only to be turned around by the judge because he self proclaims to be “too harsh” but claims to offer sympathy.
