Is RASASC helpful or just a waste of time?

Hi all, I’ve posted for ages about issues with my mother. When I rang the local council run DV unit they fobbed me off but gave me the number to RASASC (rape and SA hotline). Does anyone have any experiences with them ? Will they also fob me off like the council Kind regards
