I have to wait 5 days for my next breast ultrasound and maybe ultrasound guided biopsy (I don't know yet if they will do my second biopsy the same day) and I was wondering what was your outcome with this birads score ?

My short history: I did my first ultrasound on 12.06.2023.(they found a suspicious mass 2/2/1 cm )- birads 4b.

I had my first biopsy (not ultrasound guided on 21.06.2023.)

I got my biopsy results in 3.07.2023. ( chronic mastitis)

Met with my surgeon in 4.07.2023 and he told he thinks I may need another biopsy and referred me to an oncologyst.

The oncologyst told me that he thinks my biopsy was messed up. (Discordance between my ultrasound findings and biopsy report and also with my symptoms).

He told me if it was mastitis I should had have some specific symptoms (fever,pain,redness,etc) which I obviously don't have .

Also I have been on antibiotics before my biopsy (3 different antibiotics ) and no effect on my mass ,because I did 3 ultrasounds in total and my radiologist told me my mass it's the same,no changes so he thinks it's something malignant .

Now I will have another ultrasound appointment with another radiologist on 13.07.2023 and I was told that he will do another biopsy, ultrasound guided this time but it's not sure that I will have my biopsy the same day or he will schedule me another day...

So I have to wait a lot again,untill I will finally have my biopsy results back and I was wondering what outcome others have had with this birads 4 b score.

I really had a lot of bad luck I guess.
