Its Diwali here and firecrackers have been going on non stop. Since it is the first Diwali after the pandemic, people have gone really over the top with their celebrations. Not only my dog, but even my own heart is beating faster and I have a headache. My dog is trembling for the last 4 hours and panting. I am genuinely worried for him. This is the first time he's had to go through this. I was able to take him away for a vacation to a quiet place for the last 2 years. This time, unavoidable circumstances at work meant I have to stay at home. I am just so angry. He has taken the anxiety medicine prescribed by the vet but he is still shaking. He refuses to let anyone touch him, hasn't eaten, hasn't had water for 4 hours. And this going to keep going for another 4 to 5 hours at least.
