For context, I have a very active dog. He is an (almost) 2 year old Yakutian Laika and has SO MUCH energy and requires a lot of exercise.
During COVID while I was WFH, it was fine because I could take him with me on walks, runs, dog parks, etc. and he got about 3-4 hours of running in each day. This was great! But now my office wants me to work in the office 3 days a week and i cant keep up with our previous routine.
I know it sounds silly, but it can be exhausting going to work all day and then having to run him around after work (I even come home during lunch to walk him), so I put him in day care.
Part of me feels like im being a bad owner because the days that he is in day care are AMAZING. I get so much done, I can relax, its great. But I feel guilty for some reason.
Does anyone else feel this way or am I just overthinking it?
