I work in construction. I'm at one property 3x per week year-round (condo complex) and became attached to a client's dog. He's about to die (the dog). What can I give her to express my condolences or what can I do to make her feel better and know that I care?
Post Body

The owner is a super sweet older lady. She always tries to give me snacks and drinks which I'm not supposed to accept but I do sometimes anyway.

I got mugged outside the condo a few weeks ago which was jarring but not that big of a deal. Second time for me because I work downtown in a big city with a big homeless population. I kept my wallet and phones and only lost ~$25 in cash. She heard about it and took up a collection from the other residents to reimburse me. It was way more than $25 and I had to ask her to give it all back because I was fine and my company already paid me for what I lost.

Edit: I usually see the owner every day I'm working at the property she lives on. If I see her tomorrow I'll ask for a pic. If I don't, I will by the end of next week for sure. I'll update.

Just an amazing lady with an awesome little dog who loves me too. I'd really like to do something special for her when her beloved dog passes away. Any ideas are appreciated.
