How does your dog ask for pets?
Post Body

My dog has about four tactics.

1) Walk up and paw at you. If she really wants pets, she'll do a good sit too! 2) Walk up and lean on you, looking up at you with a 'smile'. We call this "good hugs" and it makes everyone very happy! 3) Walk up to you and do a downward dog stretch. When she does this, she wants real good side scritches! Then she'll finish the stretch and go towards you for optimum butt scritches. 4) YOU walk up to her while she's laying down (or she'll flop over if she's sitting) and raise her paw. This means she wants belly rubs!

In any situation, if you stop petting before she's done, she'll paw at you to say she wants more pets.

Do your dogs do the same or similar things? Or is your dog quirky and do something different? Let me know! I'd love to hear everyone's cute dog stories!
