I have always liked dogs and want to get one in the future currently it’s not something I can do yet but I am moving soon and once I have saved up some money to care for a dog I want to get one. My family have hade dogs 2 small inside dogs that I know and some herd dogs(border collie) though I never got to close with them because I was generally just in my room and I didn’t getting along with my moms husband, and he didn’t treat the dogs to well. No abuse but he kept them in cages most of the day so they don’t get enough exercise witch is not got for such active dogs. But other then some basics I don’t know a lot above training dogs and what’s good for them so looking for advice on stuff like that.
I also want to get a collie since they are very intelligent and is looking for advice to train these types of dogs. I won’t use it for hunting/herding our anything like that. just for company though i know They need to train a lot since they are a very active dog breed any advice is appreciated.
(That’s about it. so again looking for general knowledge and advice for training a intelligent and active dog. Also looking for advice for what to look for when choosing a dog, though if I get luck I might get a puppy from my family dogs. it’s bit hard to tell yet if they would give me one if I ask so probably have to buy it myself)
