[Help] How to entertain old dog with torn ACL

My dog is a 9.5 year old lab/border collie who recently tore her ACL. Because of her age, we’re taking the “medical management” approach of pain medication and joint supplements. We’re only a few days in but she’s putting a little bit more weight on her leg than before.

Is she just supposed to rest? If so, how do I entertain her if we can’t go on walks and stuff? I don’t want her to be miserable and bored all the time but I also don’t want her to be in pain.

I’m pretty clueless - any advice helps!!
