I didn't know how to google this, so here I am lol. I have a dog, China, who will turn 3 next month. I also dog sit. I'm currently sitting a beautiful beagle mix, Kyra. Kyra is just shy of two years, so she is (understandably) a very energic pup.
Here is the issue: There is one other dog that I regularly sit, Belle, and she is a cute, tiny, 5-year-old terrier mix. China always wants to play with Belle, but Belle doesn't really play. She's very much a lap dog. BUUUUUUT now that I'm sitting this playful pup, China is acting like this grumpy, irritable old man. I'm so annoyed with him.
Why is he like this?
Additional info: China is half husky, 1/4 dachshund, and 1/4 chihuahua.
tl:dr - My dog wants to play with dogs that don't want to play, and doesn't want to play with dogs that do. Why?
