Post Body

Hi all; my 5 year old Podenco fractured her tooth today chewing on an ox pizzle. She does not seem to be in pain and still ate all her dinner, however the nerve has now been exposed. We brought her to the vet and the said we have two options; wait and see if it causes discomfort (and the nerve may retreat) or contact the dental vet for extraction. Does anyone have any experience with this? Obviously the dentist will be expensive but would rather the situation didn’t get worse or more painful for the hound.
