[Help] Should I be concerned that my small dog has more extensive (internal) injuries after a bite from a much bigger dog?

About 6 hours ago, my small 23 pound jack russell mix, Moose, was attacked by a much larger 70 pound Labrador mix. Moose has two large puncture wounds on his back, and after cleaning and examining myself, I rushed him to the emergency vet. While there, I explained to them that the aggressing dog was much larger, and Moose was likely thrown around a bit during the altercation, as big dogs do with small dogs. I also mentioned that he was limping on his left leg. He was returned to me two hours later with the puncture wounds being clean, antibiotics, and painkillers for the wound. At no point did they mention any concern for internal injury, nor did they tell me anything about his leg, or anything I should look out for besides signs of infection at the wound site.

I am concerned that they are not thinking about a 23 pound dog being thrown around like a toy. He could be limping because of the wounds on his back, but also he may not be. About an hour ago (5 hours after incident), he was able to walk outside and go poop, but definitely seemed wobbly. Probably due to sedation, but I think more weight on his right leg than left. Am I overreacting? Or should I have him re-examined and get a possible x-ray before his check-up next week?
