Post Body

I've never fathomed that I could love another living thing so much until I got my golden lab. He's my best friend, and I do everything I can to make him happy. I can tell out of my family he likes me the most because I definitely give him the most attention and I'm pretty much the only one who plays tug of war with him, the rest of my family is too busy. Whenever he sees me his head perks up and his tail starts wagging and IMMEDIATELY he wants to play unless hes too tired. I take him out for a short jog every morning, I try to practice tricks with him. He's formally trained by a professional we hired. He falls asleep cuddling next to my mom in front of the TV every night. Besides him starting to become picky about what he eats, he overall seems like a happy dog.

However, I still find myself thinking about him CONSTANTLY. I love my dog so much, that I literally feel deeply emotionally hurt if my dog even goes through an OUNCE of suffering. It's like, I care about him so much that I don't want him to ever have to experience bad things. I want to make this dog's life the best ever possible. But what if hes not happy? What if my dog feels betrayed when I walk away? What if he thinks that I'll never come back when I leave for work? What if hes bored at home? What if he feels lonely?
