Theres a number of people out there who have high energy dogs like a German Shepherd or a Boxer, that need a lot of excercise, but they themselves are not very active.
I'm working to become a dog trainer and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for individuals like this? I'm going to encourage it as a way for people to get active themselves and develop a closer bond with their dog. Outside of that, does anyone have any suggestions I can give for people who probably, despite their best intentions, wont put too much effort into their dog getting enough excercise.
I know of automatic ball throwing devices which I dont have any experience with. And I've heard of people getting their dog to run up and down stairs, but I worry doing that excessively could hurt their joints over time.
