I have 3 dogs. 2 females and 1 male. Both my females are fixed because I'm the kind of person who thinks there are enough homeless dogs in the world to be adding more to that. My male isn't fix yet but planning to very soon. I've noticed that every time i go out with my Chocolate Lab i always get the "are you going to breed her?" Question. Yesterday i took her to get her nails trimmed and a guy who was waiting for his dog saw her. Vivi is super friendly and went up to him to say hi. The guy loved her. Asked a few questions like her age and such and then asked the breeding question. I told him that no. That she was fixed. He said something along the lines of "that's a shame"

Why??? Is it because she's a chocolate lab? Is it the breed? It seems people assume that i got her to breed her. I didn't. Hell i wasn't even planning on getting her. Not only that she's not a full lab. I know she's mixed with something but i don't know what. She does look 100% lab though. Maybe that's why?

Anyone else get this question and get annoyed by it? Every time i get ask all i think is "do i look like a backyard breeder to you" it's just something I've been thinking of.
