When i started training classes my trainer fitted my dog with a prong collar and instructed me how to use it - my dog pulls to other dogs but over the past three months we have worked to a point where unless the dog is walking towards him he does not react.
I have noticed a rash around his neck where the prong seems to be irritating him - does anyone have an opinion on switching from the prong to a martingale maybe with the chain clasp so he can hear the sound still (we don't leash correct just let him pull against the prong until he stops)
