So at work the other day we were having a conversation about the recent statistic that millennial are buying houses with their dog (or the idea of getting a dog) in mind. However a lot of my older coworkers felt that my generations eagerness to get pets was not the best idea - they think we should not be tied down, that we should wait till children before we add the dog, that we don't understand the responsibility

I think that my dog only enriches my life, the activities I enjoy doing I can take my dog. If I want to take a vacation I just find care for my dog..... but this isn't the first time I've heard this. When I tried to rescue (before going through a humane society) they were very concerned about my age.

What do you guys think ?
