Post Body

About a month ago i got a new puppy and named him Zoro. I have another pup named Robin, i've had her for a year. So when Zoro first came to our house it was all jealousy and curiosity all that good stuff, but now they are very attached to each other. So the other day i locked them both up while i did somethings on the living room, by lock up i mean i put them both behind the gate.

The way my house is set up is, there is the living room then a little hallway that leads to the bedrooms and bathroom, the puppy gate is at the entrace of that hallway, so that's where i leave them. We keep the bedroom doors closed but leave the bathroom one open because that is where their puppypad is. They're tiny dogs so they don't reach anything they can damage (like toilet paper) so they're in there and all of the sudden Zoro starts crying and whining and pushing against the gate. I ignored him because that's what he usually does when he wants to get out. I then notice i don't see Robin, usually is both of them doing all the rockus to get out. The whole time Zoro is not stopping and keeps making noise to get my attention, so then i finally go over and see Robin laying further down on the hallway with her collar stuck around her mouth. I am 100% sure that my little Zoro was trying to tell me Robin need it help.

He did it again when they both got shots but Robin ended up being sored and she would just lay down and not move, because she need it rest. At the end of the day we turned off all the lights and went to bed, we then hear Zoro going crazy, clawing at the door and crying. He usually doesn't do this at night. He wouldn't stop so i went outside and found Robin laying down. She was ok so i just knelt down and pet her and usually Zoro launches at her when i do this because he wants to be pet too, but this time he sat next to their bed and looked. So i pet her and tell Zoro that she's ok, that she's just tired, that she only needs to rest. I went back inside the room and Zoro didn't disturb us again. My guess is that after we left them he tried to play with her as he usually does but Robin most likely did not follow his lead, so he got worried and tried to get us for help. He's a silly little guy but i am so happy to see that they love each other so much.
