Best way to keep her smelling and feeling clean?

Hey eveyone new to this sub! I've always loved dogs but never really had the space. I got a new place recently and decided I finally could give the proper care for my own dog so I adopted a 6 year old black German Shepherd girl with who we believe is mixed with Lab. She was an outdoor dog before so she was very stinky and would leave a thick residue on my hands after petting her. I doubt she'd often (if ever) been bathed or de she'd as she had so many tufts of she'd fur coming out.

I've had her for a few weeks and wanted to let her adjust so I finally took her to get groomed this weekend. She did very well, everyone loved her as she is a social girl, and she smells and feels so much better now. She still sheds but not like she was and I plan to give her daily brushings going forward.

What I would like to know is, how do you keep your dogs Smelling and feeling clean between baths? I have a very strong nose and while I don't mind the natural dog scent, I do notice quickly when they begin to stink. I've looked at many sprays and dry shampoos (formulated for dogs) and was just wondering if there's a strong consensus one way or another. I want my sweet girl to be able to be be in the house as much as she wants without having to worry about unpleasant odors (not to mention I let her sleep on my bed so)
