Holiday success story - share your holiday pup stories too!
Post Body

This Christmas we brought our 7-month old puppy to my parents' place for the holidays. We flew with him under our seat in the cabin with us, and then stayed at my parents' house for a few days.

I just wanted to share our holiday travel success story with you! We had a great time, and everything went so smoothly with him. He was so quiet and calm in the airport, and was very good on the flight. He was super polite and well-behaved at my parents' house, left the tree and presents completely alone, gave the cats some space but also tried to make friends, and didn't have any accidents in the house even though it was a brand new place and the snow outside was super deep and he was seeing and peeing in it for the first time!

He had a great time playing in the snow and making friends with my sister's boxer pup. He charmed my family and settled into his new routine like a champ. He even learned a new "trick" - how to jump up on the couch on his own, from a stand-still, for the first time!

The first day when we were exploring the back yard together, he even managed to dig up a frozen fish (a casualty from my dad's fish pond) from under almost a foot of snow! Even though he was a good little hunter, he wasn't allowed to keep such a tasty prize.

Anyway, we're so happy our puppy's first big trip went so well and I just wanted to share our success story with you all. I'd love to hear your holiday dog stories too, whether a success or a challenge, so feel free to share if you want!
