I have no clue what this is

family dog has had this thing on her for I don’t know how long (my memory is cheeks sorry) I remember we went to the vet to check out this bump she had but the vets said it was a spider bite of some sort and we were given some cream to put on the wound. Fast forward and this thing appears out of no where, It doesn’t bother her unless we pick at it and personally I just feel like it’s the medicine that’s really dried up and somehow it shaped like that I don’t know but it’s hard like a rock.
