[UK] Need help! Transferring BTC from Coinbase to Binance error

Hi, like many people here i'm pretty green to this, however in order to buy dogecoin it seemed that transferring BTC or any other crypto to Binance was the best way to go.
I'm pretty sure I haven't made a mistake yet whenever I get my BTC address from Binance and paste it into coinbase i just get "Your send failed, Unknown cause".
Has anyone had a similar experience, I wasn't sure if it was something I was missing or if the transaction isn't working due to the recent surge of popularity
