I found Dogecoin December 16, 2013, and it was my entry to crypto. I've been here since nearly the beginning and watched it all unfold. I mined it, I tipped it, I wow'd in such amaze at the social phenomena that occurred in a matter of 6 weeks! It was the fast growing subreddit and pumped to a $92 million dollar market cap. I bought stickers and t-shirts and spent my doge on the Jamaican Bobsled Team, the Doge Car Team and rode proudly in my DogeCar cycling kits. I made an attempt to bring crypto and Dogecoin to the masses with Jalapeno Inventive but ultimately succumbed to crypto winter after self funding with all my crypto. I had a small bit tucked away, but nothing compared to the 1m dogecoins I once possessed.
Through all the pumps and dumps and stunts, the shibes frolicked in playful mayhem, knowing no limit to possibilities. They would jump on wow ideas to make headlines ring and dreams come true, and share the gift of much currency to its brethren. All of this amaze is what I see at the core of this beautiful puppy pin. Yes, many of us were lured by greed and $1 Doges canvased in joke, but the of heart of innocence and love that was cultivated still drives the ethos and my belief in this currency and community.
So, Elon. No. I don't think the HODLers should sell, because Dogecoin has become the REAL scare asset. When the richest man in the world can't buy what he wants, I think we're on to something.
