I just clicked "Publish" in the Google Play store for the new Dogecoin Wallet for Android. That means you should be getting the update in the next hours, depending on how fast Google is.

Please make a backup before and after the update!

Changes:

• Uses HD wallets. That means only one backup is needed to recover all future funds in this wallet
• No more address reuse
• Protection by spending PIN
• Sweeping of password-protected paper wallets (BIP38)
• Fee estimation before sending
• Manual wallet backups back up whole wallet, not just the private keys
• Approx. fiat balance on widget
• Requires Android 4.0.3 or higher (If you are running a version below that, you will still be able to contiue to use the old version).
• On Android 4.1 , app-widget is horizontally re-sizable
• Translation updates
• Updates several internal components
