First I'd just like to say- I love giveaways. I have personally given away over 100000 here and I run several dogecoin giveaway bots. I just think that in order for people to got proper recognition here, we need to move giveaway posts to another subreddit.

I've been thinking lately about the unfortunate distribution of upvotes we have in this community. Some fantastic posts never get their proper recognition, while a giveaway post gets 30 upvotes in ten seconds. I have actually seen a merchant downvoted when he posted that his business would accept dogecoin. To me, and I hope for all shibes, that is unacceptable behavior.

If we could move dogecoin giveaways to specific subreddit, like we did with tip wars, I believe it would really help out some of these quality posts that get ignored here.

So please, do not misinterpret this post as anti-giveaway and anti-fun, I just wish that we would not solely upvote giveaway posts. If we could do this, people would learn to be just as excited about a new merchant as they are about a small giveaway now.

Moving giveaway threads will actually greatly improve how this place works. Shibes will start posting good OC, because they know that they will get generous tips, and will stop only commenting in giveaways.
