[SECURITY QUESTION] Are your wallet's priate keys susceptible to MITM Attacks, etc. during the act of syncing? Or making transactions?

Post Body

I often sync my wallet whilst on the company VPN. I trust the company is not interested in my doge but it just occurred to me that I am passing data through their servers. Let's assume they were malicious -- Are my private keys exposed to the network during this process?

Even if the answer is 'no', if I make a transaction, am I vulnerable then?
