How to explain current price stability?

For the past week or so, Doges have held steady at about 1 D to 180-190 Satoshi. Given the extraordinarily high minting rate of about 500K doges per minute, how do we explain how the price has stayed within such narrow margins for so long (relatively). Is the rate of growth of the popularity of Doge precisely equal to the current rate of inflation?
