As a Shibe who has been here since December 21st, just two weeks into Dogecoins release, I have heard people say that this community is great. I always agree, but after hearing new comers say it over and over it stopped mattering to me since I had heard it time and time again.
Today I remembered a old comment I made - the first time I got gold here on Reddit. Read the comment, it really shows HOW the Reddit community made me feel.
Basically, it is me saying my fear on Reddit is seeing my inbox turn red. Whenever it turns red I die a little inside out of fear of what the person is going to say to me. Whenever I let my true opinions fly someone was always ready to yell at me. That is how I felt.
I can safely say I have not felt that way yet browsing /r/DogeCoin. Whenever my inbox turns red it is either someone discussing something with me, me getting a thank you for helping someone/giving advice, getting a tip or the tipbot telling me my tip went through. All of those are great feelings :)
I love this community, and it didn't really occur to me how it changed the way I see Reddit until today.
