Here is the thread of the person who is planning on putting the Dogeflag on Mt Everest

I messaged /u/KeatonIrvine, the climber who is planning the trip, about if I could turn this into a competition so we as a community can vote on a flag. The two main flags I saw people mention are This flag and this flag. The thing is... the first one is very Americanized, while the second is very United Nationalized(that's a word right?). I feel like if we do either of those flags, a lot of people will not feel the happiest since it was not a vote and seems to focus on just one region.

[My idea]: I was thinking that we should host a flag designing contest. Any idea(as long as it is appropriate) may be submitted, and we as a community will vote for what flag we want to represent us.

If the flag design picked is based off of a specific regions/groups flag(see those two pictures above), that is fine, since it was voted by the community.

[What we need]: I can set up a voting system easy enough and just use the honour system that people won't vote more then once unless someone else has a better system they can implement. What we really need is someone who knows how to make the flag, or a way to physically make it.

The deal with /u/KeatonIrvine is that

"there are no environmental issues associated with it[The Flag] and OF COURSE that it's possible for me to carry... :P"

Anyone know of a reliable flag making company we can pay to have this made and have it shipped to her?

If anyone has any comments, concerns or a better way to run the voting, please say so. I just want to hear your opinions and thoughts on this. I just want to find a fair way to decide what flag will represent us at Mt Everest(and maybe get some really awesome designs in the meantime).
