I like the meta tag from /r/dogemarket, so i used it here too :)
Everytime someone mentions Dogecoin in an article it is along the lines of "That sort of joke coin based on a meme, made semi-serious". Or something like that.
I am proposing that we work on the branding and try to push it towards, "The community coin".
Frankly, mainstream acceptance is going to be hard if everytime someone mentions Doge they say the word "joke". Just think about it like equating us to Monopoly money. That's not cool and it won't do anything.
We already have people tipping and sharing Doge around the world. That's amazing! We are very inclusive and share tons of love in this community. How many posts have been like this, "I didn't reddit until Doge" or "I have always lurked, but joined for Dogecoin". Again, amazing.
This truly is an amazing community driven and community based coin. Let's work towards formally branding it as such.
I did not post this for tips. Please give them to new Shibes rather than me!
This is the most updoged thread I have ever had on Reddit.
