Question about 100,000th block/doubling the difficulty.

Simple question. Let's say our difficulty was at 100, and at the 100,000th block the difficulty goes to 200. What does that mean for our hashrates?
Is it linear and 100->200 means half the hashrate?
Does each difficulty become worth less then the one before, so 100->200 becomes 75%, -> becomes 62.5% etc?
Is each difficulty worth more then the previous and it the hashrates get exponentially smaller?
Basically, we know how the 100,000th block will affect the difficulty, but how will the 100,000th block affect our hashrates?
