Yo, just picked up my R/T plus. First night driving realized the dome lights/buttons were not working. Scowering the web/forums I discovered it being a somewhat common issue.

Some have posted fixes via dome console replacement or pinched wire or wire harness disconnect behind console needing to be sorted out.

I’ve seen the quick fix of reconnecting the ground wire in the battery but don’t want to risk hazard lights and other issues appearing. Worst cases cars have been in dealerships for weeks with no end in sight.

Those of you that have experienced this issue can you provide insight and a true solution your dealership found? Some have said an “update” at the dealership has resolved the problem but curious if these actually solved or a temporary BS answer. Looking for updates on this issue and if anyone has truly had it resolved. I appreciate the time and any help!
