So I went through a divorce and we were renting. I got stuck having to pay the rent and bill for 9 months left on lease. I got the deposit back for a shitty $375 and it was made out to both of us. I ended up signing both our names and just deposited it into my account. Well she found out and is threatening to turn me in for forgery. It’s less than $400 is anyone gonna even take her serious? Should I pay her half? She did absolutely nothing to deserve a penny of the money.
