The End Of The War Master: Killing Time - The Orphan

Episodes 2 and 3 of this set have been absolutely fantastic. The way that Jacobi’s Master abuses and manipulates Jo and Nyssa is horribly evil, and so well performed by Jacobi, Manning, and Sutton.

But I am certainly distressed by the ending of The Orphan. With the context of the final episode and knowing that the events with Nyssa do not get revisited, I fear she may actually be dead. Is there evidence anywhere in the extended Whoniverse that Nyssa survives this? Because the way that story ends, it paints it like she dies. Which is pretty horrible…
